 The locomotive is equipped with16V240ZJB diesel engine, TQFR-3000 synchronous main generator and ZQDR-410 traction motor. The diesel engine is controlled by microcomputer system and equipped with rheostatic braking equipment with full power and self-loading trial functions, with maximum power of 2,650kW 3,600HP and service power of 2,430kW 3,300HP.
